It's hard to believe but today is the end of Term 3 and so to celebrate, we held a Footy Colours Day! Whilst not everyone may have been football minded, it was wonderful to see so many families embracng our special day and joining in the fun!
The children came dressed in their favourite team colours from not only the AFL, but Rugby & Soccer too! Whilst inside, the children thoroughly enjoyed painting their paper football shapes, making their footy streamer shakers and having their face painted! Of course, once outside, many got involved in kicking our balls around before the bikes, trucks, swings & sandplay took over. It was nice to finish off the days activities with a Hot Dog in bread for lunch which all the children seemed to enjoy! Mmm - yum!
Here's hoping everyone has a wonderful two week break and we look forward to seeing you all back again on Friday October 14th for the beginning of Term 4!
