East Sale Kindergarten aims to ensure equal access by children and to provide a happy & successful orientation to our centre for new families. Enrolment & orientation include familiarisation with the centre & a settling in period which is tailored to meet both the parents, staff & children's needs.

PRIORITY OF ACCESS
General
Children at risk as identified by Department of Human Services
3 Year Old Program
- Date of application of children who are already three years of age in the attending year
- Children may be eligible to enrol upon turning 3 years of age, following negotiations between UnitingCare Gippsland / East Sale Kindergarten Staff & subsequent positions being available
4 Year Old Program
- Children who have received funding for a second year of 4 Year Old Kindergarten
- Children who were eligible to attend in the previous year but deferred their attendance
- Date of application of children who would be four years of age by April 30th in the year they attend Kindergarten
This service is primarily for the defence community in Sale and is supported by the ADO as part of the family support network
- Children whose parents are Defence personnel as per definition in DI(G) Admin 58-1
To accommodate an existing agreement between the RAAF Base & East Sale Kindergarten, 2 places will be held to accommodate posting cycles.

SCHOOL HOLIDAYS
FEES
East Sale Kindergarten is closed on all gazetted School & Public Holidays. We may also close for Staff to undertake Professional Development, although Staff will ensure parents are informed well in advance of these days.
FEES
UnitingCare Gippsland aims to provide an appropriate fee structure which maximzes the quality and economic viability of East Sale Kindergarten. Fees will also reflect that the centre is a not for profit organisation.
Fees generated directly affect the viability of East Sale Kindergarten, so parents are encouraged to pay fees on time.
All fees are invoiced by & paid directly to UnitingCare Gippsland. No fees are collected at East Sale Kindergarten.
CONTACT DETAILS
It is essential we are kept up to date with all addresses & telephone numbers, including those of your emergency contacts, in the unlikely case of an emergency, or if your child becomes ill during the day.
It is the parents' repsonsibility to notify East Sale Kindergarten of any changes to this information.
CUSTODY ORDERS
If a child has specific custody & access arrangements in place, please discuss this in detail with the Staff. A copy of the current Family Court or other Order is required with our enrolment form. It is the parent's responsibility to provide information about changes to court orders.
If there is any likelihood of problems associated with collection of your child, please discuss this in detail with the Staff. If there is no formal contact arrangements, Staff cannot legally deny access to parents.
